Josh's Dreams

In January this year Josh Hornick-Lancaster age 11 of Cypress Texas he had been nominated and accepted into the Youth Friendship Games in Holland.   His mom Lori has been working  diligently to raise money for her son to participate  in these game.  We are sad to  learn  that Josh's doctor is not going to allow him to play.  Over the past year Josh has been battling several medical conditions.  In the past month he has been in the hospital twice and he is now being sent to a specialist in Dallas because they are unsure of what is wrong with him.  Josh being the amazing kid he is,  has put aside his own needs and has started a charity called Josh's dreams.  He wants to donate the money he has raised and wants to continue to raise more money for Cypress area kids that can not afford to play after school sports.  The money will be used to pay for the cost of registration for the sport.  He also wants people to donate sports equipment they are no longer using  so he can match it to a kid who needs it.  Keeping kids involved in sports keeps them out of trouble after school.  You can post on the Josh's Dreams Forum on  My Cypress Directory if you have sports equipment to donate.    Josh will continue with the scheduled fundraising events the; car wash and the BBQ dinner and auction at AJ's .  I encourage everyone to come out and show your support.
 

Current Fundraising Events

• Family Themed Silent Auction and Dinner-  It will be held at  AJ's Barbeque, June 2, 07 from 3pm until ?, Cost per ticket is $15.00 dunk tank, silent and live auction and inflatable's, games, bands, the meal will be brisket, sausage, potato salad and according to my  Lori's husband is the best beans in the world.  Lori is currently looking for sponsors for the inflatable's, dunk tank, popcorn machine, tents, tables and chairs, donations of prizes for the silent and live auction. ANY AND ALL DONATIONS WELCOME AND APPRECIATED.
